# Channel Select

> Channel select menu for advanced messages and modals.

**Inputs**

| `custom_id` | yes | Custom ID for this select component (1-100 chars). | e.g. `"reason_select"` |
| `placeholder` |  | Placeholder text when no value is selected. | e.g. `"Choose an option"` |
| `min_values` |  | Minimum selected values (0-25). | e.g. `"1"` |
| `max_values` |  | Maximum selected values (1-25). Defaults to 1. | e.g. `"1"` |
| `disabled` |  | Whether this select is disabled. | `"true"`, `"false"` |
| `channel_types` |  | Optional channel types to allow in the select menu. | `"Text"`, `"Voice"`, `"Category"`, `"Announcement"`, `"Stage"`, `"Forum"`, `"Media"` |
