# Send IFTTT Event

> Send an event to IFTTT. Use the "Your bot sends an event" applet trigger to run an IFTTT Applet when this block is run. This block does not wait for the Applet to complete.

| `details` |  | Provide any other values as newline separated name: value. Details are sent to IFTTT as text and JSON. | e.g. `"username: alex\nmember_count: 1204"` |
