# Change Bot Status

> Update the bot's presence and status text.

> Avoid changing status too frequently to prevent disconnects. It may take up to 5 minutes for a status change to take effect.

**Inputs**

| `status_type` | yes | Activity type. | `"Playing"`, `"Listening"`, `"Watching"`, `"None"` |
