Defer Interaction
BlockInteractions
Acknowledge an interaction and show a loading state. Use this when your response will take a while.
- Only works in flows started by an interaction: a slash command, button, dropdown, modal or context menu.

Ephemeral
Makes the eventual response visible only to the user who triggered the interaction.

Response Type
Choose "simple" for text/modal/etc responses, or "advanced" for advanced message responses. Pick based on the type of response you will send later in the flow.
